I'm still getting pain 4 weeks after varicose vein operation?

I had laser treatment for varicose veins 4 weeks ago. My leg is still painful to touch and hurts when I walk. Is this normal after 4 weeks? My followup appointment is in about 3 weeks time. Should I just carry on until then or should I contact them sooner? ps My leg is not swollen or inflamed, so I don’t think there is a danger of thrombosis.

You should call them right away or go to the ER. There are a number of complications that could be serious.
