Your Questions About Laser Treatment For Hair Loss

Charles asks…

Laser treatment for hair loss…does anyone know if this really works?

I have looked it up on the internet but wanted to see if I got feedback from someone who actually has done. Thanks

rob answers:

Yes, laser treatment works! What you need to know is they can’t zap it all away in one treatment. I have been thru electrology treatment, prior to laser becoming popular.
I have talked with the electrologist and she says the laser takes care of more area at once than electrology. With electrology it is done one hair follicle at a time. Laser is one patch/area at a time. I am so glad I spent the time and money for electrology. I did my upper lip, chin and eyebrows. I no longer have unsightly hair issues. If I were to have the problem now, I would laser instead of electrology simply because a patch at a time will take less time. The overall expense is about the same.

Lizzie asks…

laser treatment for hair loss! does it work????

anyone had any experience with this

rob answers:

Yes, I am very happy with the results of my recent laser hair removal. Here are some rules I found out.
1. The laser zaps dark hairs, but it won’t work if your hair is blonde or white. (I have some blonde baby hairs that didn’t go away).
2. You will need AT LEAST 5 sessions. (Depending on the body part, it can be 2-3 months or more between treatments).
3. It doesn’t really hurt, but your skin will be sensitive to UV rays right after a treatment.

I got it done on my lip and chin, and I had 5 sessions. I bought a package deal from a local option, so it was only about $250 for all 5 sessions for me. I started in July/August and just finished my last session. For my lip and chin, each session took about 5 minutes, so it’s very quick. I am now a bit of an addict! I plan to do my arms, arm pits, bikini, legs, but need to save money first (and wait for another auction deal!)

Steven asks…

what is the best treatment for preventing hair loss/regaining lost hair? Any experience with laser treatment??

preventing hair loss / regaining lost hair.

rob answers:

I’m researching this myself so I thought that my experiences might be useful. If its diagnosed as male pattern baldness, then its hereditory and you wont get it back. Most products are rubbish. If you are going to use anything ‘Regaine’ is your best bet . You might be able to prevent further loss though.
If you want a cosmetic improver, I have heard that meshing is very effective and realistic. An extermely fine/invisible mesh is glued or otherwise attached to your scalp and hair is woven into it. It great for creating a natural hairline, which you will never get from a wig or hairpiece. Its custom designed for your individual needs, and can potentially last from 3 months to a year if your are careful with it. Probably very expensive, though, Im looking into that now…hold this space..

Daniel asks…

How Laser hair restoration is different from other hair transplant treatments?

I am planning to go for a treatment of hair loss so I am little puzzled which treatments to go for, laser hair restoration or some other. Please help me.

rob answers:

Laser hair restoration can be a good option for individuals having problem of hair loss. There are some other treatment also but it is much more effective than any other treatment because of the reason that it is cost effective and does not involve any sort of medicinal treatment on a regular basis. The post laser treatment visits are for a very brief time period and the entire treatment process is painless.

Laser treatments can be of different types.
1. The Laser Luce LDS 100®
2. Low-Level Laser Therapy
3. Home Laser Hair Therapy Device
4. Laser hair restoration, etc.
