How can I prevent varicose veins?
I am on my feet all day five days a week, and I get real sharp pains in my calves and behind my knees. I am noticing bruising on my calves where the pain was. How can I prevent them from breaking and turning into varicose veins?

rob answers:
I wanted to share that using the herb Butcher’s Broom is an absolutely wonderful cure for varicose veins! I have been taking a supplement for 3 weeks and my legs are 100% pain free! The ugly varicose/spider veins are also starting to disappear! I was in tremendous pain with these veins in my right leg during my 6th pregnancy and having a very difficult time walking or standing. With 3 months left to go I figured I better find some way to get through a little more comfortably. I ran across this herb and with my doctor’s approval have been taking it with GREAT success! I noticed improvement in my pain on the first day! Check into it! I’m guessing it would be great to help prevent the problem also. Make sure you check with your doctor first…especially if you have elevated blood pressure.

varicose veins and leg / foot swelling?
I am scheduled to have my vericose veins removed sometime in January, question is ..I have major swelling of my feet and lower legs, will this go away after my surgery ( after healing time)? Been miserable with this for years and in the last 6 months it has gotten progressively worse. compression stockings or walking no longer help to releave the pain and swelling. Happy I am finally getting this done but am concerned that with the surgery and re-routing of blood will the swelling be relieved?
No not diabetic, compression stockings have not helped much, have had vericose veins for about 30 years, Dr said they were huge masses that needed to be removed. That is why I am having the surgery. Just am hoping to hear from someone who had the same problem who had surgery with a good outcome.

rob answers:
Most patients notice a significant improvement in their symptoms after surgery. By a month post-op, you should be feeling much better.
Good luck!

Enlarged veins in hands & feet?
Is there any way to relieve enlarged veins in the hands and feet? I do not have varicose veins (I’m young, no swelling or any other symptoms), but rather low blood pressure which I assume is the cause for it.

rob answers:
I have had these same enlarged vein all my life . This is a sign of low body fat and probably a fast metabolism. The only way to get rid of the look is to put on weight so far as I know, the extra pounds will hide the veins. For someone with a fast metabolism however is not as easy as it may sound. This is just you , get comfortable with the idea, its healthier in the end.

Lizzie asks…
Are these varicose veins?
Almost all of the veins in my feet are kind of popping out and bulging. My feet are kind of lacking fat. My feet often feel heavy and when I raise my legs the veins don’t bulge anymore. I don’t feel any itchiness or anything. This has been going on for about a year I believe. Are these varicose veins?

rob answers:
Are they red….. Ah forget it. Look it up!!!!
